                                                                Happy Birthday Rick !

                                     We  started celebrating Rick's Birthday on Sunday.
                            Rick joined our church's band and he did a really great job !  

                                       I  recorded a little bit of a  song that they performed 
                                         however my recording is alil sideways  ....lol
                                  (I didn't want anyone to see me recording in church )

 
                                After church my husband & I did some shopping  
                                   & then had a wonderful  Pre-Birthday celebration
                                   at our home for my hubby with my in-laws.

                                                       I think I succeeded!!!

  My husband & I wanted this also to be a special evening for his mom and Ron.
                                            They are leaving back to Pgh on Friday !!!
                                          He had nice music in the back ground
                                        to set the mood for an enjoyable evening !

Candlelit dinner, with delicious  Wine and I made freshly brewed Teavana Blueberry Bliss & Pineapple Kona Pop ice tea to toast Rick's Birthday and also to toast a new beginning for my in-laws  to come back and start a new chapter of their lives looking for a new home here in Fla .

 

When my sister in law was here visiting we made a trip to the Cheesecake Factory and we all enjoyed some of  their SkinnyLicious® Shrimp Summer Rolls which was made with
Delicate Rice Paper Rolled Around Asparagus, Shitake Mushrooms, Carrots, Rice Noodles, Green Onion, Cilantro and Shrimp – Served Chilled 

Since we all enjoyed that meal so much I wanted to try and duplicate it !

                                         My husband likes to golf so I got him this book ...

 Each devotional is partnered with a solid golf tip to help the reader get to the green. 

He didn't hesitate to grab my reading glasses and get started reading the book ....lol

                                           I love this man with all my heart & soul !!!!!

 Rick's Birthday was on Memorial Day ....we went to dinner at Bonefish Grill and had Birthday cake at my in-law's condo ...My husband was glad to celebrate his birthday with his mom  & Ron . His mom made it an extra special  Birthday I'm sure my husband will remember always !

                                                            Dinner was yummy !

       Rick's mom gave him a compass and a ring that was his grandfather's

          A memory keepsake something to cherish of his grandfather Dalzell  

                               My mother in law is so pretty and has a beautiful smile ....

                                                                a great BIG heart !!!!
                                                        Love her green dress on her !!!

                 I really enjoyed having her here and enjoyed all the laughs together !!!
                                            (Glad she will be back in 4 weeks !)

                  The only thing that he would of liked  is being with  our son

                                    (I'm so proud of my son...I miss & love him so much!)

who is currently serving in the United States Air Force and want to say Thank you to him and to all Military men & women for all that you do and sacrifice for all Americans. 

                                                         God Bless our soldiers!!!!

Today is also my husband, Rick's Birthday ....
I had asked him what he would like to do today???

so he  wanted to get out and get some fresh air & go Biking !!!

                                                                    Off we go !!!

                                    We also stop to feed the birds and I try to capture 
                                            some of Nature's beauty of both parks .....

                                    ofcourse my husband is way................ahead of me ....

                       Pretty neat how nature works ...seeds fall from the pine trees 
                                               and then baby trees are formed ...
                                           There are so many new trees growing ....
                                        which should bring new flocks of birds.

                                                   This bird is scoping us out for bread ......

                  It was a hot day .. you would of thought  I was taking a shower ....lol

 

I finally joined the handsome Birthday Boy !

                                         We also fed & watched the birds near the lake .....

                                                               So calm & quiet !!!!!

                                            they fly by quick I just got him in the photo.....

                                               I had a great day with my husband ....
                   he told me something very special as we sat on that swing .....
                that exciting info  I will share with everyone at a later blog to come.......
