Pati's way thru life: My Birthday Weekend !

My Birthday was on Friday, April 19th

Yes ....the big 44 years old ....Yikes !

I woke up to a beautiful display of Roses from my husband ....

Then off to work I went .......however I was in for a treat today .....

My friend Tamara gave me a Birthday treat for a ....

Hydrafacial....

All the top celebrities are using this treatment now a days ....

My friend Tamara makes you feel so relaxed and she educates you on your skin and skincare products you should be using ...She is wonderful !

Ahhhhh.....I feel so much better !!!!
I told her to erase all the 44 years of wrinkles ...lol

Back to work I went ...
then one of my accounts wanted to take me out for Happy Hour ...

                                   I ordered a Peach Sangria & Naked wings ....Yum!
                                         We went to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse!
                  The funniest thing is I'm meeting my husband later with friends
at another BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse!

             My friends were joking " Your having a BJ's Birthday ...Oh Boy !!!"
                  and then they ordered me a certain BJ shot (Censored)
                                                        that they made me do ...
                                               ah no pics ...Thank Goodness...
1/2 shot Bailey's Irish Cream 1/2 shot Kahlua Topped with whipped cream ..

                                floating around the Facebook galaxy ..Ughhh!

After that I needed some coffee.....My sister in law told me to order this drink she always gets at Starbucks ...so I say what the heck it is my Birthday I will treat myself ....

"Venti Caramel Frappuccino Lite with whipped cream +protein & energy"

Then Starbucks gave it to me free for my Birthday ...Love getting presents !!!
It makes you feel Special !

Oh I also stopped at Target and got me a lil gift .....

I ended Back at Bj's for Dinner with my husband , Rick
and our friends Pete & Joyce ...

Pete making funny faces as usual .....

Joyce's Birthday is also on 4-19 and we didn't see each other last year on our Birthday so this year we decided to celebrate together for dinner ....

For dinner I had a Gluten free Pizza ...I figured I already had wings may as well go for the Pizza.

They even brought out a Pizookie...
gluten-free chocolate chip cookie topped with a scoops of vanilla bean ice cream and served in its own deep dish.

The staff sung Happy Birthday to Joyce & I ....

I gave my husband the ice cream on top
and of course I ate all the cookie part ...Yum!
Joyce stuck with just ice cream....

I had a really nice Birthday ....

I was surprised by a unexpected Birthday wish from a celebrity chef that I follow and communicate on Facebook and blogs !

Devin Alexander -she also The Biggest Loser Chef of 4 Cookbook Series plus a few Diet books of her own .

I first started following her back in 2007 when she did a show called "Healthy Decadence"

It was a great show with a focus on how to cut the fat in your favorite dishes without sacrificing flavor.

She was over weight as a teen and on that show she gave all her tips on how she cooked recipes to help her shed over 100 + lbs ....

& now I watch her on her new show called America's Chef on tour .

The next day I went to support my friend Linda at the Relay for life Cancer Walk.

All the teams had to come in a theme ....My friend's team did GREASE as their theme and they were the Pink Ladies !

                                  Linda made crafts to sell at the event ...she is so talented ....
     there was decorative wine glasses, bracelets,mugs and photo frames etc....
                                               Other teams that I thought was pretty cool ...
