| Eggnog Sugar Cookies | |
Ingredients 1 cup(2 sticks) butter-do not substitute 1 ½ c sugar 1 egg 2 tsp vanilla 3 cups flour 1 tsp salt ½ tsp baking powder ½ cup egg nog Nutmeg & cinnamon optional Directions |
Cream butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until light and fluffy. | |
| (Make sure your butter is at room temperature easier to blend) | |
Add flour, baking powder, and salt,(Sifted) alternating with egg nog.
I added fresh ground nutmeg to the batter.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts and place on ungreased baking sheet and sprinkle with Raw Sugar. I also sprinkled some of the cookies with Cinnamon.
Can also drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees 10 - 12 minutes (yields approximately 3 dozen) Let Cool and Enjoy!
