I like this brand Namaste Foods Pizza crust mix
because it also has a layer of flavor by adding Italian seasoning .
Add 1- 1/2 cups of pizza crust mix
in a mixing bowl
Make sure you measure precisely .
Leveling off excess flour with the back of a butter knife.
Add 1- 1/4 cup of water
to the pizza crust mix .
Add 1 tsp of canola oil to the mix .
Stir with a wire whisk until
the mix is well combined .
Then get out a mixer and blend for
another 3 minutes and the crust mixture
will look like a cake batter consistency .
Pour pizza crust mixture on to the pizza pan.
Spread evenly all over the pan forming a circle.
It should roughly be 14'' wide .
I then lift the pan and drop it on the counter
to let out any air bubbles.
Place in the oven on the lower rack.
Bake for 20 minutes.
I picked fresh herbs from my herb garden.
Italian parsley
Basil
Italian Oregano
I washed and paper towel them dry .
Love the smell of fresh herbs!Italian Oregano
I pulled the leaves from the stem .
Basil.
Italian parsley .
Place all basil leaves on top of each other .
Roll all together and julienne the leaves.
Bunch all the herbs together .
Chop finely .
I like Del Grosso Pizza sauce
All natural
& Gluten -Free .
Pizza crust is done
Ready to take out of the oven .
Let cool for a few minutes .
Top pizza crust with the pizza sauce.
Spread the pizza sauce in circular movement
all the way around to almost touching
all the edges.
Sprinkle the chopped herbs
scattering over the pizza.
The package states it melts and stretches like real cheese .
Sprinkle mozzarella style cheese all over pizza .
Add pepperoni...
I like to use Hormel Turkey Pepperoni with 70% less fat.
Place all around the pizza so every slice of pizza
will have 2-3 medallion of pepperoni.
Looks pretty good to me .....
I like to use Earth balance natural buttery spread.
Dairy /Soy & Gluten-free!
Mix 1 teaspoon of buttery spread
until all is melted .
Mix together with a Silicone Pastry Brush.
Brush the melted garlic buttery spread
all around the edge of the pizza crust.
Drizzle olive oil over the pizza .
Back in the oven
& bake
for another 10 minutes.
Pizza is done ready to cool before slicing.
Now for the test ..............
1st bite is pretty good !!!!
Yep... I wanna another piece !
Not bad for a Gluten/Soy/Dairy -free pizza !!!!
Now I can experiment with different sauces & toppings!
