Low-Fat Eggnog French Toast







                                                         Low-Fat Eggnog French Toast

Ingredients


Low calorie Bread of choice(White,wheat, wholegrain etc.) Try a Gluten Free Brand.
Find one that is 50 calories or less per slice
2-3 tablespoons Low-Fat Eggnog  -50 calories
1/4 cup Egg beaters -30 calories
Smart Balance Butter spray- Zero calories 
Low Calorie/Sugar free Syrup- 2 calories per teaspoon
I opt to use about 2 teaspoon per slice of toast total of 4 calories
Pinch of  Ground Cinnamon -about 1/4 teaspoon
(Great for Stabilizing Blood Sugar)
Pinch of Grated Fresh Nutmeg- about 1/4 teaspoon
Powder sugar for dusting-just adds a few calories just don't get carried away its just a dusting
For 2 pcs of Eggnog French Toast is roughly 185 calories -Now that sounds YUMMY!

You will  need a Mid- size pan and Pam cooking spray



 Directions

Add eggnog, egg beaters, cinnamon & nutmeg in a bowl big enough to soak your bread in .
Mix until all is combined.

 Add your bread choice to the bowl and press firmly to let both sides soaked up eggnog mixture





 Add to pan to cook and brown on both sides until bread texture is like a sponge. 



Heat Syrup in microwave for 20 seconds


 Top French Toast with butter spray and warm syrup and a dusting of Powder Sugar & Enjoy!
