I just had to make it !!!!!
Dole Whip is a soft serve frozen dessert available Walt Disney World!!!
I'm going to try and replicate it ......
Ingredients:
1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored and chopped-1 cup=78 calories
(Quick step-I bought pineapple[on sale too! ] already cored )
1 cup almond milk- 30 calories (I used the brand by Silk)
1 tablespoon honey- 64 calories(I used local honey )
1 cup Dole Whip Treat = 172 calories
Directions:
One day in advanced .....
After pineapple has been chopped into chunks ,
place into the freezer for overnight....
When your ready to enjoy a Dole Whip snack ....
Grab the frozen pineapple
and let it thaw out a bit about 5-8 minutes
so the chunks seperate from each other .....
Place the frozen pineapple chunks in a blender
Add the Almond milk
I'm eyeballing 8 oz ...
Now add the honey ....
if you can buy local honey ...great for the Allergies !!!
Again I'm eyeballing 1 tablespoon
Now blend until smooth....
You want it to be thick as well !
Not like a milkshake....
This looks soooo Yummy !
Time to spoon into a dessert cup ....
*
For an authentic Dole Whip presentation,
transfer the frozen dessert to a
large plastic bag,
and cut off the tip to create a piping bag.
Pipe the
pineapple whip into a cup, and serve immediately!
&
enjoy !
