The Atlantic hurricane season's first tropical cyclone-
Tropical Storm Andrea made landfall today.
After the drenching rainfall which
was all cleared up by mid-afternoon ...
(Happy that Andrea was a quick pass through storm...)
I went for a windy walk on the beach !
Indian Rocks Beach
Looks a lil choppy out there...
Come for a walk with me .....
Lucky these trash bins are chained down ...
It is pretty windy ...
I like the different colors of these
Adriatic chairs ....
They are a popular outdoor/patio demand for this summer !!!
Surf's up!!!!
Wind and waves from Tropical Storm Andreacrashes onto the beach....
definitely not a day to go sailing ...
The water is so choppy ....
The faster the wind blows, the faster these waves get...
start off as ripples then gradually form
a big wave .....
Watch & see ...
(Hear how heavy the wind is too)
Tropical Storm Andrea had washed up some nice seashells along the shore....
Oh and more Beach foam ...Ewwww....
This lil fella is hoping Andrea would wash up some dinner ashore ....
He was posing for me to take a picture ....
Well Summer is here ....
I'm sure we can expect more storms to come our way ....
Hurricane Season officially started on June 1 and will end on November 30.

Now is the Time to Prepare....
5 Tips for staying safe this season ....
- Know your evacuation level. From that one piece of data, you know if you have to evacuate or if you can ride it out at home, To find your zone, check the evacuation zone maps for Pinellas County.
- Build your plan. It is not too early. Know where you’re going to go, what you’re going to do and who your plan involves.
- Get papers together. When it comes to recovery from a storm, you really have to have those important papers together. These include insurance policies, birth certificates, titles and other legal documents.
- Pay attention to warnings. When we put the word out that it’s time to do something, you’ve got to do it,"You want to be the first one done.”
- Don’t believe it can’t happen here.
batteries, water and non-perishable food.
If you wait until a hurricane is approaching,
your chances of finding the items you need are not ideal.
It is also good to have at least two coolers ,
one for drinks and one for food., on hand if the power goes out
you will want to stock up on ice to keep it all cooled.
One thing on my list this year is to buy a generator !!!!
We definably need our AIR CONDITIONER here in FLA !!!!
When severe weather
strikes, it may take a utility company
days or possibly weeks to restore
power.
A generator is the best option
for homeowners because
it can provide power
during extended outages.
He keeps the air on all year around ...

I thought I was bad with my hot flashes !!! haha~
