Happy Father's Day !

                                        We started off celebrating Father's Day at church ....

                                   Today's Sunday service was all about the "MEN"...
                                                  & Their Role in the Church ....
The role of man is a leadership one, that is, to be exemplary and God-fearing. It is to be exercised in love and with a good and caring disposition in both the church and the home.  

•  Loving Leaders-In four words, the man is to lead, labour, listen and love. The man is to take leadership in both the home and the church.
• Effective Teachers-Men are to search and study the Scriptures themselves and to be ready or equipped to teach the Word.
• Godly Examples-Husbands are called by God to relate to their wives in a way that typifies the Great Example, Jesus Christ, to the Church (Eph 5:25–27).
• Husband/Father in the Home-One of the many important roles of the man is to be the head of the home (Eph 5:22–25). To do that properly, he is responsible to lead and guide the family.
• To Love the Spouse and the Children-The husband / father is to lead by example and to demonstrate genuine care and concern for the family, the response will be obedience and support and harmony in the home (Col 3:18–21).

                                  

                                    The Church was decorated in "MANLY" stuff .....
                           TOOLS, SPORTING EQUIPMENT,KAYAKS, TENTS  ......

                                         there was no women singing today!

                                After church my husband went to spend his day
                                           playing golf with a friend at the ....

  so I told him  

I would take him out to dinner next weekend to celebrate with him

 since he is coming home late... 

                                               That gave me the time to wrap his gifts ....

                                                Ofcourse I got him some Golf clothes ....
                        My mother in -law & I had 2 shirts made for him with an 
                                      Authentic West Virginia Logo put on them.  

 
                                   and a few other stuff I thought he might like .... 

                                                       Ohhhh & Smart Phones .....
                            We finally upgraded!!! ....Our phones were Ancient ..
                                     so we  thought we better move up to the times ...
                                  I'm still trying to figure out how to use it ....lol !!!

                                       He is not too sure about the Golf shorts I bought him .....
                                           He is So picky when it comes to clothes :)~
                                              So I know I will be returning something ...
                         These arn't as good as the ones he bought in the Pro Golf shop.....
                                                Thanks to our son he is now spoiled  !

                                     He really likes the WVU Golf  shirt I  had  made for him ....

               He really enjoyed the movie Avatar ....so now he can watch it again ....

                                           I told him he can now put a shirt on ...lol
      I bought him one of my favorite color -lime green Columbia Golf shirt .....

 

I hope my husband had a wonderful Father's Day !

                        It was really nice that my son was here right before Father's Day . 
They really enjoyed each other's company  and played many golf courses  while he was here.

     My son celebrated Father's Day last week when he came home for a visit.

                                                      Father & son spent the day golfing ....

                                     My son got his dad a really nice Father's Day gift ....

                                  My husband was so grateful & really liked  his gift ...
