My Better Butter -Peanut Butter!

                                               Home made Roasted Peanut butter. 

                                                                 Remove outer shell.
                                                This will take  5 minutes of peeling.
                                             2 peanuts down and about 30 more to go .

                                               You will need about 2 cups worth.

                                                         Down to the last peanut.

                                 Easy clean up just  pick up shells with towel & pitch in garbage.
                                                                      (Or compose)

                                                 Add peanut or vegetable oil -2 tbsp
                                  *Note: Remove skins of peanut. (I didn't in this recipe)

                                                            Add Sea salt to taste.

                                                                   Mix all together.

                                                               Add Honey- Drizzle.

                                                                   Mix all together.

                                            Spread the nuts out on a foil lined baking pan.

                                                   In a 350 degrees F preheated oven    
                                                 Roast peanuts for about 5-6 minutes. 
                                              Your nose will tell you when they are done !

                                               Allow the peanuts to cool after roasting.

                                              Once cooled add nuts to food processor.

                      Cover the bowl with the food processor lid and chop the peanuts
                      continuously for 2 to 3 minutes or until the mixture forms a ball.

                                        Add 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable or peanut oil.

 Scrape peanuts down from the food processor bowl into the bottom, as needed, when processing the peanuts. Continue processing the mixture until it is of your desired consistency. For smooth peanut butter, you may have to process the mixture for a longer period.

                                   Pour the peanut butter into an airtight container
                                             Store in the refrigerator for a day or two
                                        so it can set in to a lovely peanut butter paste.
