                                                                  Baby Rattle Pops
I was co-hosting a Baby shower so I decided to make these yummy
Baby Rattle Pops to give out for favors .
"It's A Girl" .... so PINK it is ....

                                                    You will Need:
                                                  (These will make 50
Baby Rattle Pops)
  • Pink / Blue Ribbon (choose gender choice colors)
  • 1-Log House CANDIQUIK® Coatings-Vanilla Flavor
  • 1 pkg -Wilton Chocolate Flavor Pink Melting wafer
  • 1-pkg Wilton 4 inch Lollipop sticks , 50 count
  • Decorative Sprinkles, Sugar pearls, Spring Nonpareils,Pink/Blue colored jimmies etc. (Sprinkle with topping of choice...)
  • "It's A girl " Charms , 50 count
  • 2-pkgs Medium size marshmallows
  • 1-pkg of pastel mix mini marshmallows -(to pick out the pink ones )
  • 50 treat bags
  • Pink/Blue Curling Ribbon (choose gender choice colors)

                                           Instruction:
Pretty simple ...The hardest part is to not burn the chocolate ....

Assemble baby rattle by placing a lollipop stick

                                                    into a  medium size marshmallow,
which makes the top of the baby rattle .

then place the mini -marshmallow on the bottom of the lollipop.
Place wax paper on a cookie sheet and line them up ...
One done now 50 more to go .....
I'll try not to eat too many marshmallows while making these ....
(At least they are gluten -free...lol)
                                                          20 done -2 1/2 trays to go ....
In a sauce pot fill  with water to mid level  and heat on high to start a boil.
Place a glass bowl slightly bigger than the pot to make a double boiler ....

While the water  is heating up ...
chop the vanilla chocolate in smaller shavings /pieces

so the chocolate melts quicker ....

                                                    Add all the vanilla chocolate

and constantly stir  so the chocolate  does not burn
Turn down the heat to low setting

once you see the chocolate getting smooth
                                                                      Keep stirring !!!

Now dip the top of the marshmallow into the chocolate
turning the lollipop around to let excess chocolate drip off .....
Then add your topping of choice ...Here I used pink sugar sprinkles ....
Make sure you have a paper plate or foil to capture excess sprinkles
so they can be reuse to sprinkle on top of more lollipops.

I place them in the freezer to cool off ....
(They only have to be in there for a few minutes)

Just enough time for the chocolate to harden .

Now time to start the pink chocolate .....
Repeat same process as the Vanilla chocolate ....

Stir until completely melted & smooth.....
Time to dip some lollipops ....

I have sprinkled these one with some white sugar pearls...
                                                                        So Pretty !
Line these lollipops on cookie sheet...
They are starting to look like cute lil Baby Rattles ...
I ran out of Sugar pearls so I used some
                                                   Spring Nonpareils sprinkles ...

Notice I  have sprinkles EVERYWHERE...
yes I'm gonna have to sweep and mop the kitchen floor for sure !

There will be a variety of baby rattles favors  for the shower ...
                                                                           Hot Pink
                                                                Spring Nonpareils

& my favorite white sugar pearls

Now to add a Pink bow and "It's A Girl " charm
to the Baby Rattle pop .

One done 49 to go .....
Too cute & yummy too !
I made some samples of some plain marshmallows dipped  in chocolate  with sprinkles for me to do a taste test.
(Ofcourse I DID !)
Place the Marshmallows Baby Rattle Pops in a treat bag
& tie the curly ribbon to add that extra  special touch to the favor ....

2 colorful baskets filled with the
 Marshmallows Baby Rattle Pops

I'm sure these will be a hit at the Baby Shower !
