Gluten Free Mini Easter Bread

Quick Easy Recipe for GF Mini Easter Bread

In our family Easter tradition
My grandmother would make the best Easter Bread!
I wanted  to honor and remember her by making my simple recipe
even though it does not come close to her homemade non- gluten recipe.

 Ingredients

1 tub Pillsbury Gluten Free Pizza Dough
Gluten free all-purpose flour for dusting
1-2
teaspoon Powder Sugar
1-2 teaspoon Earth Balance Non-dairy butter spread
Colored Easter Eggs(Cage -free)
1/2 teaspoon of
Non-pareils sprinkles

This recipe makes 6 Mini Easter Bread

Directions
Position a rack in the center of the oven
and preheat to 400 degrees F.
Spray a  large baking sheet with non stick spray
or cover with parchment paper.

Color/Dye your Easter Eggs
Mine are not so decorative just simple colorful eggs.

Sprinkle some flour on a hard surface, take a rolling pin and roll out that pizza dough into a large circle.
With a knife cut out 12 strips,
then roll 2 strips at a time to form a braid;
once you formed a braid then form that braid into a mini circle.
Make sure your Easter egg can fit snugly in the circle.
Pinch both ends of dough together to secure the circle.

*Note: Since the pizza dough is gluten -free
 the dough will not rise.

Place each mini Easter bread on the baking sheet
 about 2 -3 inches apart.

Combine melted butter spread with some powder sugar then baste the butter mixture on each mini Easter bread.
Sprinkle the colorful Non-pareils on each  mini Easter bread.
Bake the mini Easter breads for  9 to 11 minutes.
Using a spatula, transfer the mini Easter breads
to a rack and cool completely.

Insert your colorful Easter Eggs in the center
 of each mini Easter Bread.
They are not perfect but very yummy nonetheless!

Place on displace & enjoy !!!
